Barcodes used by these companies are legally purchased and independently registered, with product information uploaded directly by the company to ensure accuracy.
Verified by IBN makes it easy to search and verify information about a barcode number, company location, or company details. By entering a product barcode number into the search bar, anyone can access the owner’s contact information and/or product information for that barcode number.

How to Add Your Barcodes to the Verified by IBN Database
Registering your barcode ensures your product and company information is displayed on Verified by IBN, increasing online visibility and protecting your business.
Registration Process:
- Free Service: If you purchased your barcodes from a member of the International Barcodes Network, you can register them for free. Instructions should have been emailed to you after your purchase.
- Paid Service: If you obtained your barcodes from another provider like GS1, you can purchase registration here. Proof of ownership (e.g., an invoice) will be required. Once verified, instructions will be sent, and your barcodes will appear in online searches, some barcode scanner apps (e.g. the Zebra Barcode Scanner), and on Verified by IBN.
